First things first: Happy Belated Birthday, Laura!

I had no idea that you were born on the most fun day of the year… but it does explain a lot.  Laura = party!!  When are you coming to see us again?

I went to Vee and Ben’s wedding last weekend, and it was really pretty.  They were the prom king and queen in high school, so the priest teased them a lot, which was cute.  And the reception was really fun – they each have 6 brothers and sisters, so the place was packed with family.  Joy, Ginger, and I got a kick out of their 100 nieces and nephews, especially Baby George Costanza and Heavy G, the 8 year-old break dancing phenom.

Congratulations Vee and Ben!

I made a new friend (also named) Ben the other day, and he told me that when he reads Shortcake, he’s “slightly reminded of Sedaris”.

When I read Ben’s e-mails, I am slightly reminded of THE MOST AWESOME NEW FRIEND EVER! *waving* Hi Ben!

Pandy ran my picture through My Heritage.com, and then he called me immediately to give me the news:

Christina Ricci – 74%
Aishwarya Rai – 73%
Rose McGowen – 73%
Natalie Imbrulia – 71%
Selma Blair – 71%

While I don’t have a six-head like Christina Ricci, I’ll admit that I have a four-and-a-half, so I kind of get it.  And she’s a breastly-blessed shortie like me, so I have to represent.

But Aishwarya Rai, y’all! Watch out, boys!

I should be insulted by Tr. Tran but I was laughing my ass off. I was more offended that myheratiage said I look like every asian female in Hollywood.- Pandrew

Why should anyone be offended by Dr. Tran? I fail to see how it in any way disparages people of Asian heritage. If you think it does, please explain why, because I just thought it was a funny depiction of a 5 year old boy in a screwed up situation. Make the kid a native American and the script could be the EXACT SAME and still hilarious. Maybe the "actual asian male" segments with the voice generator could be offensive, but only to the hyper-sensitive. People who would be offended by profanity or sexual references could be offended, but I don't think that's what you're referring to... I dunno, I fail to see evidence of racism... ~Louvre

I think Pandy just likes to point out that he's Asian. P?

I'm WHAT!!??!! Yes sweetface you are right, it was a only a segue that failed to do the job. But I am slightly offended because I used to act exactly like that, down to the pissy drama queen breathing. Can I have an "actual asian male" t-shirt for my birthday?
